Graduated in Veterinary Medicine by Universidade Paulista (2004); residency in Large Animal Clinic (2007) at UNESP-Botucatu; fellowship in Large Animal Clinic with emphasis in Neonatology (2008) by Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, Kentucky, USA; internship in Large Animal Clinic and Surgery at the University of Minnesota, USA; residency in Large Animal Clinic at the University of Minnesota, USA; Master’s degree (2012) and PhD (2015) in Veterinary Clinic (Equine Genetics) by the University of Minnesota (diplomas recognized by the University of São Paulo, USP). She taught several classes and clinical rotations at the University of Minnesota. Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, DACVIM, Large Animal (2013). PhD in molecular biology at the University of Minnesota, USA (2015). She worked as a professor, advisor to the coordination and manager of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the Max Planck Faculty and full professor at FAVIÇOSA (Faculty of Science and Technology of Viçosa). She was a professor of Equine Clinic at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, UFMG, between 2018 and 2021. She is currently Professor of Equine Clinic at the Federal University of Viçosa.
