He holds an degree in Veterinary Medicine by the Federal Rural University of the Amazon; Medical Residency in Large Animals at the São Paulo State University – Unesp-Botucatu; Master’s degree in Medical Pathophysiology by the São Paulo State University – Unesp-Botucatu and PhD in Pathology and Clinical Sciences by the School of Veterinary Medicine of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He is currently a Full Professor at the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the Federal University of Viçosa (DVT-UFV). He has experience in the field of Veterinary Medicine, with emphasis on Internal Medicine of Ruminants and Horses and Clinical Pathology, working as a professor and researcher in the areas of Internal Medicine of Ruminants and Horses and Clinical Pathology. Line of research: Clinic of Hydroelectrolyte Imbalances and Acid Base (development of electrolyte solutions for rehydration of ruminants and horses), Veterinary Gastroenterology and Clinical Biochemistry – Professor in the Postgraduate Course in Veterinary Medicine of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Federal University of Viçosa – Viçosa-Minas Gerais/Brazil (CAPES Note 7).
