She holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine by the Federal University of Viçosa (2008). She completed her Master’s degree in 2010 and her PhD in 2015, both in Veterinary Medicine by the Federal University of Viçosa, in the area of Animal Production and Reproduction. She was a professor in the Veterinary Medicine course at Univértix (2010 to 2016) and at Univiçosa (2016-2018), where she also served as technical supervisor for the Equine Husbandry Department of the Institution. She has provided consultancy in the area of Equine Reproduction to several breeders over 10 years and has taught professional courses in the area. She is currently a professor of Animal Reproduction in the Veterinary Medicine course at the Federal University of Viçosa, where she also works as a researcher at the Research Group Biotechnology and Physiology Applied to Animal Reproduction and leader of the “Group of Studies, Extension and Research Applied to Equine Reproduction”, both certified by the Directory of Research Groups in Brazil/CNPq.
