Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine by Vila Velha Univesity Center – UVV (2002). Residency in Veterinary Clinical Pathology by UVV (2003/2004), Master in Veterinary Medicine by UNESP, Botucatu/SP (2008) and PhD in Biological Sciences by UFES, Vitória/ES (2014). He is currently a Professor at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) in the Department of Veterinary, and a researcher in the area of Animal Clinical Pathology, with a research project funded by FAPEMIG. He has completed training at the University of Miami, Miami, FL, USA, with a scholarship for JUNIOR VISITING PROFESSOR by PRINT – INSTITUTIONAL INTERNATIONALIZATION PROGRAM of CAPES. He has experience in the area of Veterinary Clinical Pathology, with emphasis on hematology, serum and urinary biochemistry and acute phase inflammatory proteins of domestic and wild animals. He is a member of the American Society for Veterinary Clinical Pathology – USA
