He graduated in Veterinary Medicine by the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) in 2004, Master and PhD in Veterinary Medicine by the same institution, obtaining the titles in 2007 and 2011, respectively, working in the area of veterinary pathology, focusing on experimental pathology and bone pathology. He worked as a postdoc in the Institutional Postdoctoral Program of CAPES at UFV, developing activities in the Research Group “Methods of Diagnosis and Treatment of Clinical and Surgical Pathologies in Domestic Animals”, on the themes: biomaterial, cell therapy, stem cells, guided tissue regeneration, bone regeneration, osteoporosis and veterinary oncology. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Viçosa in the area of Physiology / Veterinary Physiology.
