Availability and disclosure

– Scholarships of regular quotas from CAPES, CNPq and FAPEMIG granted to the PPGMV will be distributed considering criteria detailed in public notices, which will be published when scholarships are available;

– The notice will be published on the PPGMV page (www.posvet.ufv.br) and disclosed by e-mail to regularly enrolled students;

– Students eligible to apply for the scholarship are considered all those selected by the regular Selection Process of the PPGMV and who meet the following criteria:

– Master’s student regularly enrolled until the 18th month and not in default with UFV programs;

– PhD student regularly enrolled until the 36th month and not in default with UFV programs;

– Students who entered without going through the PPGMV’s regular Selection Process, such as those provided for in international agreements signed between universities, will not be eligible to compete for regular scholarship quotas,  granted by CAPES, CNPq and FAPEMIG;

Registration

– All candidates able to apply for the scholarships related to the published notice must submit a duly proven curriculum, according to the model presented in the template below, available on the official page of the PPGMV, within the deadlines established by the published notice;

– Registrations with CVs prepared in disagreement with the template provided will be canceled;

– Candidates with an employment relationship will not be able to compete for scholarships, except when permitted by funding agencies;

– Applications after the established deadlines will not be accepted;

– Items of the curriculum not proven according to the specifications of the provided will not be scored;

Evaluation & Classification

–  CV scoring will be carried out by the student member of the PPGMV Coordinating Committee, with the assistance of the other members and PPGMV advisor when necessary;

– The scores of each section of the CVs will be adjusted according to the respective weights of the sections, having as reference the maximum grades obtained in each section;

– After adding up the grades obtained in each section, the registered candidates will be classified in descending order and the scholarships distributed according to availability;

– In case of a tie, the score obtained in the “Scientific Production” section will be considered first, and subsequently the date of entry into the PPGMV (older students will have preference);

– The results will be valid for 60 days, from the date of score release. If other scholarships become available during this period, the result of the current evaluation in effect will be considered;

– Candidates may appeal the grades obtained within a maximum period of 48 hours after publication of the results of the notice, by delivering an official letter with justification to the PPGMV Coordinating Committee.
